Dean of Students in the University: Message of Support for Students Affected by Hurricane Irma

To: Students from Florida
From: Michele Rasmussen, Dean of Students in the University
Date: September 12, 2017
Subject: Hurricane Irma

As we look forward to the start of the Autumn 2017 quarter and a new academic year, many of you may be dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and the extreme damage and destruction caused by this storm’s path through Florida in the past few days. If you are from Florida or have family and loved ones who live there, I hope that you are all safe and that the damage to your homes and communities is minimal. If you are facing unexpected challenges or problems as a result of the hurricane, please contact Campus and Student Life if there is any way we can possibly offer assistance or support. You may reach us by clicking here or by contacting the Dean-on-Call (who is available 24 hours a day, every day) at 773-834-HELP (4357).
