RSVP is proud to bring impactful programming to campus all year long. Every year, RSVP coordinates a series of events during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, as well as other events throughout the academic year. Events include national speakers, special topics workshops, and panel discussions, as well as other opportunities for activism, education, awareness, and expression on issues surrounding sexual assault and its reduction.
In just the past year, RSVP has: co-sponsored UChicago’s annual Sexual Assault Awareness Week, collaborated with Alpha Delt to engage Greek life to keep campus parties safe, hosted a discussion about enthusiastic consent with Tea Time and Sex Chats, and more. RSVP also continues to collaborate with other campus groups to coordinate such events as Take Back the Night from sexual and domestic violence, the Sex Signals O-Week show, the UChicago Clothesline Project, and much more. Each of these events aims to raise awareness, foster discussion, and initiate meaningful action around the topic of gender relations or sexual assault prevention.
If you or your group would like to collaborate with RSVP, or you have any special programming needs, please get in touch with Vickie Sides.
