The University of Chicago Women's Athletic Association (WAA) will host their annual Hoops for Hyde Park Schools fundraising raffle this Friday, February 1, at the women's and men's basketball games against Case Western beginning at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively, at Ratner Athletic Center.
The money raised will benefit the physical education programs at Fuller and Woodlawn Elementary, two local Hyde Park schools. Raffle tickets are $1 and are available ahead of time from a WAA representative or at the games. Last year, WAA was able to raise $2000 for each school.
The Order of the "C" will also host a clothing drive and raffle fundraiser at the games.
