Add your voice to the many who will gather together for a community march on Thursday, April 18, to shed light on the injustice of sexual and domestic violence. The Take Back the Light event empowers survivors and community members to take back the light within.
In addition to the community march, this even will feature “The Clothesline Project,” a survivor speak-out, and a closing candlelight ceremony.
Take Back The Light will take place from 4 – 7:30 p.m. at the University of Chicago- Knapp Center (KCBD), 900 East 57th Street.
This event is sponsored by Resources for Sexual Assault Prevention (RSVP), in collaboration with YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Police District 003 Domestic Violence Sub-Committee.
