Update on Lyft Ride Smart Program
November 23, 2021
In light of recent input from students and continued concerns regarding safety, UChicago’s Lyft Ride Smart program will remain available 7 days a week through the end of the calendar year. In addition, the program’s hours will be expanded to 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. starting today, Tuesday, November 23, through December 31, 2021.
HEERF III Deadline Extension and Increased Income Threshold for Students

The University has extended the deadline – to December 1, 2021 – for eligible students to submit an application for Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) funding.

The University will hold a memorial service on Thursday, November 18 at 3:00 pm CT for Shaoxiong “Dennis” Zheng, a recent University graduate who was killed on November 9.
