As the Director of Athletics and Recreation,  Angie serves as a critical advocate for the athletic and fitness opportunities at the University. She collaborates with key partners across campus and works with the Alumni Relations and Development office to ensure ongoing philanthropic success. Angie also provides intercollegiate competition and programming for over 500 student-athletes that are aimed to challenge the student-athletes to develop into their best selves. She is integral to fostering a department that promotes and celebrates all dimensions of difference and diversity. 

Angie joined the University in 2021 after serving as the Senior Associate Athletics Director of Culture, Diversity, and Engagement at the University of Notre Dame. She was a member of the leadership team that set the strategic direction and guided the tactical operation of the athletics department and led the department's diversity and inclusion efforts. Her responsibilities also included monitoring developments in NCAA, conference, and institutional policies and ensuring the education and implementation of policies across the athletics department. In addition, she also served as an adjunct professor of sports law at the University of Notre Dame Law School. 

Angie received her bachelor's degree in sociology from DePauw University, and her Juris Doctor degree from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University.
