Dr. Hibbler is a creative strategist, equity-minded leader, and champion for student success. As a university administrator with over a decade of experience, Dr. Hibbler centers his work around equity, data, industry best practices, and innovation and believes in creating environments where residents and staff can live as authentically as they choose and feel like they matter, belong and proud to be part of the community. Dr. Hibbler's professional interests include Racial justice with higher education, university housing, and residential student success. In 2019 the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International presented Dr. Hibbler with The Outstanding Mid-Level Professional award recognizing him as an established student housing leader. Dr. Hibbler draws from his undergraduate experience as the Butler University mascot to serve those under his leadership. Much like Hink, the Butler Bulldog, or any institution's beloved mascot, Dr. Hibbler is the biggest cheerleader and supporter for his students and staff. Just as a mascot works to make a difference in the game's outcome, Dr. Hibbler aims to make a difference in the lives of those entrusted within his care.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum in Instruction with an emphasis in Higher Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
