Ravi Randhava serves as Associate Dean of Students in the University and Executive Director of the Center for Identity + Inclusion, which is home to the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, LGBTQ Student Life, and Student Support Services.

In this role, he leads a department dedicated to providing outstanding co-curricular educational opportunities and support for students across schools/divisions – and works in partnership with student-facing areas to advance the University’s commitment to building a more inclusive campus and stronger sense of community. Professional interests include identity development, response to bias and critical incidents, and the ‘intersection’ of diversity and inclusion and free expression on college campuses.

Previous roles involve advising cultural/ethnic student organizations and developing leadership programs at the University of Chicago – and supporting community service student organizations and service-learning initiatives at Northwestern University.

Ravi earned an M.Ed. in Educational Policy with an emphasis on diversity and equity from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Northwestern University. He has been part of the UChicago community since 2010.
