As Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration, Tim works closely with the Dean of Students in the University in supporting numerous financial and administrative functions for Campus and Student Life (CSL). In addition to creating and monitoring the CSL budget, Tim also oversees capital projects, facilities and technology for the unit. The Office of the University Bursar and the Human Resources departments report directly to Tim. 

Tim collaborates with CSL senior leadership and senior staff across the many CSL departments to support and enable the success of core departmental missions. Tim is the liaison for both the central Budget and Finance Offices and works closely with central Facilities and IT.

Tim started working for CSL in February 2014. He started as Executive Financial Director and has also served as Assistant Vice President of Finance and Administration for CSL. In each role, Tim has progressively taken on more responsibilities to better serve the unit. 

Before joining the University, Tim held a variety of financial positions in private higher education institutions across the Chicagoland area. He has led Purchasing, Payroll, Grant Accounting, Financial Aid, Bursar, Bookstore, and Campus Card functions for higher education institutions. In his role prior to joining CSL, Tim was the Associate Vice President of Business Affairs at Columbia College Chicago for seven years. 

Tim received a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign, a MS in Higher Education from Northwestern, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
