The UChicago community gathered to celebrate Homecoming October 14–16, giving students, alumni, and families the chance to reconnect with old friends and cheer on the Maroons. College Houses marked the weekend by competing against one another in the annual banner painting and tug-of-war competitions. The Homecoming Block Party at 56th and Ellis featured food and games, and fans gathered at Stagg Field following the Block Party to watch the Maroons post a 33–26 victory over Rhodes College.
