Apply for the Emerging Minds Project

November 8, 2017

The Emerging Minds Project (EMP) is an intergroup dialogue program for College students to engage in conversation about diversity and social justice.  Covering a range of topics, including (but not limited to) race, gender, disability, gender, sexual orientation, class, religion, power and privilege, intersectionality, and allyship, cohorts discuss the "isms" while learning how to be culturally competent leaders.

Cohorts will meet a total of 10 times during Winter Quarter (Weeks 3-7) and Spring Quarter (Weeks 2-6) on Wednesday or Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00pm.

The application for the program consists of standard questions and three short essay questions.

Students who participate in a cohort are eligible to apply for paid facilitator positions with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) next year.

Applications are now due by Monday, November 13 at 11:59pm.
