East Route Service Change Notice- Effective Thursday, Nov. 14

November 11, 2013

This academic year the transit hub for the East Route of the NightRide shuttles was moved from Regenstein Library to 56th Street near Max Palevsky Residence Hall to ease congestion and address pedestrian safety concerns on 57th Street. However, this move has resulted in concerns on 56th Street from Max Palevsky residents.

Effective Thursday, November 14, 2013 the East Route of the NightRide Shuttles will leave the Regenstein Library and take a right onto Ellis Avenue. The shuttle will travel north on Ellis Avenue past 56th Street; it will no longer travel eastbound on 56th Street between Ellis Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue. After passing 56th Street it will travel to Ellis Garage and layover there until it is time to leave. Once the shuttle leaves, it will turn right onto 55th Street. The shuttle will travel eastbound on 55th Street to Woodlawn Avenue. At Woodlawn Avenue it will turn left to travel northbound on Woodlawn Avenue and resume the rest of the route. See the East Route Service Change Notice for a map with these changes.
