In Remembrance: Nadia Ezaldein

December 1, 2014

With great sadness, I write to inform you that Nadia Ezaldein, a 4th year student in the College, died on Saturday of injuries she suffered in a shooting at the downtown store where she worked. This is heart-rending news and we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Nadia and her whole family will be in the thoughts of many of us during this time. If you would find it helpful to talk with someone about Nadia's untimely death please contact the Student Counseling Service (773-702-9800 or 773-702-3625 after hours), the Dean-on-Call (773-834-HELP (4357) or 4-HELP from a campus phone) or the Spiritual Life Office (773-702-2100).

In the coming days we will share information regarding memorial plans and details about the family's wishes.
