April 21, 2015

Buoyed by a team championship in IM Men’s Wallyball and an individual championship in IM Hearts – as well as strong finishes in both IM Coed Wallyball and IM Doubles Table Tennis – during the Winter Quarter, Maclean House maintains its perch atop the Intramural Office’s 2014-2015 Maroon Cup standings.

A two-foot-high golden chalice, the Maroon Cup is given yearly to the student house that receives the highest amount of intramural points throughout the school year.

Maclean, the undergraduate house earning the most points in sanctioned intramural activities through the Winter Quarter, has 2,450 points.  Defending Maroon Cup Champion, Wick House, is currently in second place with 2,210 points while Alper House (1,580), Wallace House (1,500) and Talbot House (815) round out the top five.
