Dear Students,
I am writing to provide you with information about voter registration, with Election Day approaching on November 6. We are providing this information in accordance with the federal Higher Education Act. For those of you who are eligible to vote, the University of Chicago works with TurboVote, a non-partisan platform that assists users in registering to vote, requesting absentee ballots, and voting by mail. For more information, please visit uchicago.turbovote.org.
Additionally, the student-led group UChiVotes has launched a non-partisan, campus-wide effort to increase voter registration and participation. Their website, uchivotes.com, has information about registering, polling places, and an FAQ. All students are encouraged to learn more and get involved.
