Join College Housing and Campus & Student Life as we give Pierce Tower one last send off on Tuesday, September 17, from 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Ellis Avenue Parking Garage at the corner of 55th Street and Ellis Avenue. Come rain or shine we will have a barbeque and ceremonial countdown to the first swing of the wrecking ball. The countdown will begin at 12:25 p.m.
Those who wish or need to view remotely can watch the demolition of Pierce Tower and the construction of the new Campus North project online. RSVP for the BBQ portion of the event via Facebook or e-mail Sarah Wilson Merriman.
Construction on the new campus north Residence Hall and Dining Commons will begin later this academic year with completion targeted for 2016.
