Campus and Student Life’s central administrative office will be relocating from the second floor of Edward H. Levi Hall to the building that is currently housing the Paulson Institute, at 5711 South Woodlawn Avenue. The move is scheduled to be complete by the beginning of September. In addition, Student Emergency Response Systems (SERS), led by Belinda Cortez Vazquez and Lynda Daher, will be relocating to offices in the Ellis Parking Structure at 5501 South Ellis Avenue.
The move to 5711 South Woodlawn Avenue is intended to make our office space more student-centered and readily accessible to our CSL colleagues and campus partners. Our new location will be occupied solely by CSL staff members (see the directory below) and will be a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff. An added benefit is its close proximity to other student-focused spaces, such as the Center for Identity + Inclusion, the Reynolds Club, and the Institute of Politics, among many others.
SERS, which consists of the Dean-on-Call, Sexual Assault Dean-on-Call, and the Bias Education and Support Team programs, will be moving to a space that is conveniently located and student-friendly. In addition, SERS will be housed in the same building as Equal Opportunity Programs and Student Disability Services, facilitating a collaborative environment for these offices that have closely aligned efforts.
