Student Leader Awards Nominations Open

Each year the University and the college recognize the significant contributions students make to the University and greater community through outstanding leadership, philanthropy, initiative, and a dedication to campus life. Students can be honored for their contributions to any part of campus life, including: work with student organizations, intercollegiate athletics, house governments, orientation programs, community service, campus arts organizations, graduate activities, the Prospective Students Admissions Committee, etc. The Student Leader Awards Committee will accept nominations from students, staff, and faculty, including self-nominations, unless otherwise stipulated in the award description.
 
The Committee is now accepting nominations for the following awards:

  •     Howell Murray Alumni Association Award
  •     Jane Morton and Henry C. Murphy Award
  •     Campus Life and Leadership Award
  •     College Outstanding New Leader Award
  •     President’s Volunteer Service Award
  •     Perry Herst Prize
  •     Humanitarian Award
  •     Bridge Builder Award
  •     R.I.S.E. Up Award

 
There is also an award nominated by students only:

  • the Unsung Hero Award
