Tim Wise to discuss affirmative action, a post-racial society, and white privilege on May 6

Tim Wise, a prominent US anti-racist writer and educator, will provide an opportunity to engage in a dialogue on white privilege, the notion of a post racial society, social justice and race in the United States. This event takes place on Monday, May 6, from 5-7 p.m. in Mandel Hall. 

Small group discussion sessions led by students and staff will take place following the talk at various locations in the Reynolds Club including the McCormick Tribune Lounge, Hutchinson Commons, South Lounge and Hallowed Grounds.                  

Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. He is the author of six books including “White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son.”
