UChicago Innovation Fest Kicks Off May 12

The UChicago Innovation Fest is a three-week celebration of the University of Chicago's entrepreneurial and innovative advances. The fest kicks off May 12 and runs through June 2, with more than 35 sessions scheduled across the city and UChicago's downtown and Hyde Park campuses. Event highlights include the 20th annual Edward L. Kaplan, '71, New Venture Challenge (NVC) Finals, when NVC finalists will present their business ideas to a panel of judges that include top investors and entrepreneurs, and a Fireside Chat with Bryan Johnson, the Founder of Braintree, which took first place in the NVC Finals in 2007 and provides payment processing options for thousands of online and mobile companies.
