University launches bike safety campaign

May 2, 2013

Recent improvements to the walkways within the Main Quadrangles have increased foot and bike traffic – but they've also boosted the number of bicycle-pedestrian mishaps, including some accidents on the Quad. Forgoing headphones, being alert to others and slowing down or walking your bike when traversing the Quads are simple ways to prevent accidents and injuries. Check out these simple tips (pdf) designed to help users – on foot or on wheels – peacefully move through the heart of campus.
