If you are concerned about the physical or mental well-being of a student or, a student’s behavior is causing you to worry about any future actions, please report your concern online or call 773-834-HELP (4357) and follow the prompts to reach a Dean-on-Call. A Dean-on-Call is available to respond 24/7.
By submitting the report, you can share your concerns about a student’s behavior, health, or well-being. The information you provide will help the University assist the student of concern with early intervention resources and strategies. The report will be reviewed and responded to within 24 hours of receipt or by the next business day.
The University urges anyone who has experienced or witnessed a bias incident to report it to BEST. A bias incident involves actions committed against or directed toward a person or property that are motivated, in whole or in part, by a bias against race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, age, status as an individual with a disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, or other protected classes as required by law and that interferes with one’s educational opportunities or disrupts the learning environment. Concerning Behavior Reporting Form
The University’s Behavioral Intervention Team and the Concerning Behavior Reporting Form are available for anyone to share information about any individual who may be planning or is at risk of engaging in violence, who has planned a violent act, or who may be the intended victim of a violent act.
