Student Case Management is charged with supporting students that are experiencing difficulty under the umbrella of UChicago Help within Campus and Student Life.
Student Case Management strives to encourage student success and retention, foster a sense of belonging, reduce risk, and enhance overall community well-being and safety by identifying student needs, removing barriers, leveraging resources, and promoting self-efficacy. Student Case Management staff provide a solution-focused, holistic, and strengths-based approach to support students experiencing basic needs challenges, deficiencies, medical concerns, emotional/psychological distress, academic issues, and/or social difficulties.
